Canalside check-Inn is sea breasy! No cards or keys required.

On DAY OF ARRIVAL,  all guests must:

  1. Read check-INNstructions
  2. E-sign room rental agreement (below) and learn how to access room and WIFI
  3. Check their Cell phone for Canalside Inn text messages from (302) 226-2006

Check-INN =  3 p.m.

Check-out = 11 a.m.


  1. On Day of Arrival – E-sign room rental agreement (below). Once balance and pet fee is paid, guests must e-sign room rental agreement.
  2. Go straight to your room after 3pm upon arrival. At this time we are not offering early check in.
  3. Find your room. Use the door keypad:

Rooms 1-4 are located on the first floor, and can be accessed directly from outside. 1 & 2 have two queen beds.  3 & 4 are King beds.  All have tubs/shower combo.

Rooms 5-12 are located on the second floor, and can be accessed on the right side of building outside entrance staircase. Rooms 5,8,9,12 are King Size rooms with rain showers.  Rooms 6,7,10,11 are Queen Size room with tub/shower combo.

Beach Suite is located on ground level, and can be accessed by entering main door and taking the left hand stairs down one level, make a right at foyer, first door on right.

– Guest Lounge and Kitchenette  are temporary closed during the COVID Phases.  It’s located on ground level. Hosting up to 34 guests, take time away from your room to enjoy a full dining area with white oak table – seating for 8, microwave, sink, mini-fridges. Use Canalside Inn’s lounge area for meeting space, or socializing on comfy sofas and chairs while watching TV’s with Internet and Cable, playing games for adults and children.



Reception: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Pool and hot tub are closed during COVID Phases: Normal Hours 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. (seasonally)

Closed during COVID Phases: Coffee, Juice, Yogurt: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. (served in main lobby)


To enter the building AFTER 5 p.m., proceed to the outside stairs located on the right of the building, and enter the passcode on the door keypad. The passcode for building entrances will be sent on the day of your arrival via text and email.


Enjoy complimentary high speed WIFI. Internet Network name and password will be sent on the day of your arrival via text and email.

Your room has Cable plus Internet TV. To switch between Cable and Internet TV, change the input on the remote. Sign into your own accounts on NetFlix, Amazon Prime, and more.


I understand that the use of all facilities, which includes but not limited to: the hot tub, swimming pool, guest lounge, bikes, etc., is at my sole risk. I agree that Canalside Inn, its owners and employees, shall not be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or cause(s) of action(s) whatsoever, to my person or property arising out of or connected with the use by me or my guests of the services and facilities of the Canalside Inn. I understand all public areas are monitored by video.  I understand during COVID Phases all common areas are closed and I must wear a mask while onsite, but not in my room.

I have read and agree to all conditions. I accept the $100/night authorization for incidentals at check in. I agree to pay all charges, whether in cash or credit card, for all charges related to this reservation, including, but not limited to nightly rates, applicable taxes, incidentals, damages, fees, theft, and purchases made on this reservation. No refund or credit for early departure.

I acknowledge and agree that this reservation may be executed by electronic signature, which shall be considered as an original signature for all purposes and shall have the same force and effect as an original signature.

All rooms are required to have at least one person age 21 years or older.

Pet Fee: $40 per night; maximum 2 animals per room, per night. Required is a $100.00 damage deposit per stay.

Parking: Complimentary parking space for one car per room is provided. Please enter your vehicle information:  (register rental vehicles at reception)

Unregistered vehicles subject to towing at owner’s expense.

I agree to pay cleaning and/or replacement fees for stains to linens, towels, and floors; damages, and incidentals caused by me, my guests, or my animals. I accept that any blood or other biological fluids on linens and towels cause replacement fees. I agree to notify Canalside Inn of stains and damages prior to departure, whenever possible notifying reception to assist with clean up. I agree to NOT use towels and linens to clean soiled areas.

(Note: There are no cleaning or replacement fees for normal usage. Only when stains, damages, or incidents occur will guests incur cleaning or replacement fees listed below.)

Entering your name below indicates that you agree to pay in full,  have read, and agree to policies stated above and in Canalside Inn Policies page. You acknowledge and agree that this reservation may be executed by electronic signature, which shall be considered as an original signature for all purposes and shall have the same force and effect as an original signature.

Check-out has never been easier. On Departure Day, simply call or text us to let us know that you are leaving the room. Once notified, we will close out your stay, and send a receipt.
