Dogs on the Beach
We love to spend time and spoil all of the cute furry friends who come to Canalside Inn and Rehoboth Beach couldn’t be a better place for quality R&R with your pup!
Dogs are prohibited on Rehoboth beach from May 1st to September 30th, but don’t you worry! In Dewey Beach, dogs are allowed on the beach year-round with a special license and are permitted before 9:30 a.m. and after 5:30 p.m. from May 15 to September 15. Dogs can be off-leash during the off-season, but they must be under your supervision and cleaned up after.
Here at Canalside Inn, not only do we offer an outdoor shower for you and your pooch to use if you need a quick rinse from the sand, but we provide a dog-walking adventure package! We understand you don’t want to be tied to the room to take care of your pet during your whole trip, so this one-of-a-kind service is designed to let you take extended time away from the hotel with the security of knowing your pet is being cared for!
