Feel the Revelation
As you arrive in the beautiful town of Rehoboth Beach Delaware, for your retreat there will be a fun-filled and activity-packed day waiting for you!
During the first day, you will have the opportunity to meet the amazing retreat leaders, visit Revelation Brewery Hudson Fields Biergarten in Georgetown, Delaware, and enjoy a fun dinner with live music and great company.
Get Craft Brew Local at the Brewery
On day 2 of the retreat experience, you will enjoy a hot breakfast at Canalside Inn catered by Greater Good Events and get ready for a beautiful Quest kayak Pints and Paddles tour at Broadkill, Milton Delaware. After the kayak session, you will depart for your very first beer tour at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery!
Now, don’t be fooled by the size of Delaware, as the Southern Beach region is becoming the ultimate hub for elite craft breweries. It is attracting the attention of many beachgoers and beer lovers alike!
Dogfish Head, a Milton-based brewery is Delaware’s largest and most recognizable brand. They have pioneered their way through the craft beer world with locations all throughout the United States and are best known for adding innovative flavors to their beer!
Once you got the chance to try some of Dogfish most well-known beers, like 120 Minute IPA or Hazy-O, you will come to join us back at Canalside Inn and celebrate the Oktoberfest Biergarten Festival where you can enjoy lunch, beer samples, and walk through the array of vendor booths, including 7 local breweries and Greater Good Events!
You will be joining Canalside Inn for our HUGE Oktoberfest Biergarten Festival on Saturday to celebrate local breweries in slower lower Delaware!
We are bringing to life an annual festival with Bavarian traditions, beer swag, festival activities, games, prizes, music, excellent food, and of course, BEER.
Rehoboth Beach Jolly Trolley will provide transportation during the Retreat and Oktoberfest beer experience! Community Outreach and Partnerships-Canalside Inn
We are very excited to be partnering with Rehoboth Beach Main Street for our Oktoberfest event! RBMS is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating partnerships to support the downtown Rehoboth small businesses, beautification efforts, and the well-being of the community!
Proceeds from the Oktoberfest Biergarten event will directly go to Rehoboth Beach Main Street, as we always make it a continuous goal to support local organizations and create fundraising opportunities #wearemainstreet!
Get Your Craft Beer On-It’s the Last Day!
Before you know it, you will be traveling to Big Oyster on the 3rd day of the craft beer retreat for a guided tour and outdoor lunch! Located right in the heart of Lewes, Delaware, Big Oyster was named the second fastest-growing brewery,
according to the Brewers Association.
They have 16 beers on tap, a full bar, a wine list, 4-packs to go, growlers, and growlers for customers to choose from. If you want to see the brewery process, they offer guided tours with access to fermenters and barrel rooms!
Other acclaimed breweries like Iron Hill Brewery are a great spot for drinking super-fresh craft beer and amazing pub food; they hold a unique feature of having an in-house brewery at each location! In 2018, they opened a location in Rehoboth Beach with space to sit outside on the patio during a nice day.
Dewey Beach Beer Company, a brewery that will give you a reclaimed wood and beach cottage feel is a great destination for people that want to enjoy acoustic music at times and beer as their main draw. Popular IPA’S like the Dewey Booter and Swishy Pants will allow you to indulge in all the great tastes!
A fun spot for friends, families, and yes ANIMALS is the popular Crooked Hammock Brewery! Not only do they have great craft beer, but the backyard experience is a way to gather, play, and unwind from your busy-day life down at the beach.
