2021 Fun Spring Events in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
Spring showers bring May flowers, and with this time being upon us, we are happy to find new events that will bring the community together all spring and summer long! As the Spring approaches, with later sunsets, more flowers bloomed, greener grass, and higher tides, more attraction is drawn to the beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Of course, this tourist town is wonderful all year round, but its true beauty shines during the warmer months of the year, and we are officially entering that season.
Soon you will see crowded streets as people enjoy the fresh, warm spring air. Runners will delight in the spring that is added to their step as they shed the long pants, long sleeves, gloves, and hat for their spring attire. The sun will kiss the faces of children as they make their way out to fresh-cut spring fields. Spring fever will be high this year, as people begin to emerge from their COVID quarantine quarters and begin to dip their toes into the world of public engagement again.
Spring into April
In Rehoboth Beach, this Spring, the soonest event coming up is the Portrait Session Special with Portraits in the Sand. At the Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach Resort Area, Dave, the owner of Portraits in the Sand, will be offering appointment-only photography sessions beginning April 4, 2021, from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. There is a $250 anytime reservation fee, and the portraits in Rehoboth do not get better than this!
Another great event worth attending is Theo’s Steakhouse Special Happy Hour! This event is taking place on April 8th from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm. This happy hour is not one to miss, come out with your family or close friends and join us for half-priced meals as well as drinks.
The Job fair sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce is another event worth visiting. This event is taking place at the Rehoboth Mall on April 16th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. People in the area looking for employment are welcome to network and interview with 70 plus local businesses. Whether your interest is in restaurants, retail, or something much different, all the opportunities are open to the public and we encourage people of the community to check out the event!
Spring Into Mother’s Day this May
The event that excites us most is The Canalside Inn’s Mother’s Day Mimosa Art Walk! This event is taking place on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Come one, come all! We are welcoming families to come out to shop from local vendors, artists, and photographers.
Greater Good Events will be serving mimosas and bloody marys and you will be able to find food from a local food truck. And for the kids, there will be an art table for kids to enjoy. We encourage families of the area, as well as new members of the community to come out, bring your mom, and treat her to a fun day out.
After Mother’s Day, another great event happening in Rehoboth beach this spring is the 38th Annual Spring Sidewalk Sale. This event is taking place on May 14th, 2021 from 10:00 am until May 16th, 2021, at 8:00 pm. Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce welcomes members of the community along with tourists to come visit the boardwalk for a weekend filled with deals and fabulous finds!
Lastly, a great event before the kickoff to summer is the Outdoor Street Market At Jungle Jim’s. This event will be taking place on May 22nd from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce will be accepting up to 90 vendors. Items range from handmade items, antiques, collectibles, and so much more!
