Things to Do in Rehoboth Beach This June: Your Mid-Month Event Guide
June at the Delaware beaches moves fast. One weekend it’s craft shows and 5ks, the next it’s national acts at the Bottle & Cork and a full moon party on the bay. If you’re staying with us at Canalside Inn this month, here’s everything still on the calendar for June in and around Rehoboth Beach – from live music in Lewes to Motown nights in Bethany – so you can plan your days before you even pack the car.
A quick heads up before we get into it: Coastal Delaware Restaurant Week wraps up June 12. If you’re in town early this week, that’s your first stop.
What’s Happening the Rest of June?
June 11-12 – Justin Moore at the Bottle & Cork (Dewey Beach)
Two nights of country at one of the most famous small venues on the East Coast. The Bottle & Cork calls itself the greatest rock and roll bar in the world, and after a show there, you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
Through June 12 – Coastal Delaware Restaurant Week
Restaurants across the coast offer special menus and pricing all week. It’s the easiest excuse you’ll ever get to try that spot you’ve been curious about. Ask us at the front desk for recommendations – we have opinions.
June 12 – Rehoboth Art League Fine Craft Exhibition
Local and regional artists showing work just minutes from the inn. A perfect slow-morning activity before the beach.
June 14 – Dewey Beach Patrol 5k
Run it, walk it, or just cheer from the sidelines with a coffee. Either way, it’s a fun morning on the beach, and proceeds support the Dewey Beach Patrol.
June 18 – A Night of Motown at the Bethany Bandstand
Free music under the stars on the Bethany boardwalk. Bring a chair, grab ice cream, and settle in.
June 21 – Lewes Rocking the Docks: G. Love & Donavon Frankenreiter
Waterfront music at the Lewes Ferry Grounds to kick off the first official weekend of summer. This one draws a crowd, so get there early.
June 25 – Neil Diamond Tribute Band at Lewes Canalfront Park
You will sing along to Sweet Caroline. There’s no avoiding it. Lean in.
June 26 – The Struts at the Bottle & Cork
Big arena-sized rock in a small Dewey Beach room. Tickets for shows like this tend to go quickly.
June 27 – Starboard’s Running of the Bull (29th Anniversary)
A Dewey Beach tradition unlike anything else: hundreds of people in red and white chased down the beach by a two-person bull costume. It sounds ridiculous because it is, and that’s exactly the point. There’s even a kids’ run in the morning at Dagsworthy Street.
June 27 – Don’t Tell Comedy in Rehoboth
A secret lineup at a secret location, revealed the day of the show. If the bull run isn’t your speed, this is a great alternative for the same night.
June 29 – Full Moon Party with Decade 80 at Big Chill Beach Club
An 80s band, a rooftop view at the Indian River Inlet, and a full moon over the water. Close out the month right.
Weekly Events Worth Building Your Trip Around
- Monday Movies on the Beach in Dewey – June 15, 22, and 29. Free, family-friendly, and right on the sand at Dagsworthy Avenue.
- Westside Creative Market – Every Friday and Monday, 5-9pm in West Rehoboth. Local makers, food, and live music.
- Bethany Yoga, Pilates & Bootcamp – Classes at 6am, 7am, and 8am for the early risers.

- Live Music with Chris Diller at Jimmy’s Grille – Every Tuesday at 6pm in Dewey Beach.
Don’t Skip the Farmer’s Markets
Every town along the coast runs its own market, which means there’s one nearly every day of your stay:
- Rehoboth – Tuesdays, 10am-2pm at Grove Park (a short walk from the inn)
- Fenwick – Fridays, 8am-12pm at Warren’s Station
- Lewes – Saturdays, 8am-12pm at George HP Smith Park with the Historic Lewes Farmers Market
- Bethany – Sundays, 8am-12pm at the PNC Bank parking lot
The Rehoboth market on Tuesdays is our local favorite – pick up fresh produce, baked goods, and flowers, then carry your haul two blocks to the beach.
Make Canalside Inn Your June Home Base
Here’s what makes Rehoboth the right place to stay for all of this: everything on this list is within a 30-minute drive, and most of it is far closer. Stay with us and you’re walking distance from downtown Rehoboth, a quick ride to Dewey for the shows, and an easy trip up to Lewes or down to Bethany for the rest.
Rooms in late June go fast – especially the weekends of Rocking the Docks and the Running of the Bull. Book your stay at Canalside Inn today and spend less time planning and more time on the beach.
